Here are 5 things that made The Force Awakens trailer simply awesome, well at least awesome to me. Overall, I loved the way it made me feel.
It felt like the movie was going to be dark, possibly be suited for adults, and yet have a slight update to the movie to keep it fresh and relevant.
Here are just a few things that I thought made the teaser trailer for The Force Awakens really awesome.
What Made The Force Awakens Trailer Awesome
1. The opening stormtrooper scene
This is what got the whole trailer moving, and moving in the right direction. The way the stormtrooper looked frightened, and confused, really set the tone for the rest of the trailer. In fact, many people jumped when it first started as they weren’t expecting that to happen.
2. Dark trailer music playing in the background
The music is definately something that should not be ignored. The music felt dark, it felt mysterious, at least until the end. The tone of the music playing gave you a feeling that this was going to be different than other Star Wars films.
3. Stormtroopers riding in transport
How cool was that? I may lean towards the dark side, but that scene on the transport was sweet. They appeared to look different in terms of the older style stormtroopers, or maybe it was just the music that shaped my opinion, but these stormtroopers looked more serious.
4. There’s a cool new lightsaber
How can you not mention the fact that there was a cool new lightsaber being shown off, and it sounded awesome. They tweaked the way it sounded as it appeared to sound more like electricity, or slightly different than previous movies.
5. Millennium Falcon just rocks
You cannot have a Star Wars movie without the most beloved ship in the franchise, the Millennium Falcon. Just seeing her flying around, and with minor updates, was pretty cool to say the least.
