Chewbacca is one loveable furry giant. That being said, he is one awesome hero to play as in the game. Not only is he the sidekick to Han Solo, but he also brings some powerful hero abilities. I mean c’mon it’s Chewie! While being a smuggler like Han Solo, he happens to be the character that keeps him in check.

So one of the coolest things about Chewbacca is that he can’t speak. It then just makes sense that one of his special abilities is his roar, which is so cool in itself. Besides that, he can take his massive arms and slam them on the ground that ends up killing enemies. Those two things, along with his signature Bowcaster, easily makes him a player favorite in my books.

Special Abilities

His special abilities are Mighty Roar, Ground Slam, and Multi-Bolts.

Mighty Roar

When Chewbacca roars it gives his teammates the level 3 Berserker trait for a limited time.

Ground Slam

Chewie will take his fists and slam the ground killing enemies that are within his reach. If players are behind barriers, our out of his range, then it becomes ineffective. He will be vulnerable after using this ability so use with caution.

Multi-Bolts

This ability allows Chewbacca to fire more Bowcaster bolts than normal. Normally he starts with just one, but this ability allows them to double.

Trait

Besides his special abilities, Chewbacca has a trait called “Furious Firing”. This allows him to shoot more bolts than one as his trait level increases. When you combine this trait with his Multi-Bolt, then you can get him to shoot 8 bolts in one shot.
