The Force Awakens was recently released on Blu-Ray and DVD, and to celebrate EA and Dice are giving players a double XP weekend on Star Wars Battlefront. Double XP will allow players to gain double the points when playing giving them the opportunity to level up much quicker than you normally would.
This will actually come in quite handy as the ranking levels were just increased in the last Battlefront update from a maximum of 50, to a new maximum of 60 levels. This means that nearly all players will be able to take advantage of this weekend bonus as most are probably not quite at level 60 yet.
The double XP weekend will run from April 8th and will end on April 10th at 1:00 AM PST. This should give plenty of time for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 players to gain as much experience as possible before the event ends.
Just days ago the Outer Rim DLC was released giving us new weapons, Hutt Contracts, Extraction game mode, and more heroes to play with. This double XP weekend comes at a perfect time for us to enjoy all the new content while moving up through the ranks.
