The Star Wars Battlefront beta was open for many people to play, and many are now wondering will Battlefront transfer your stats when the game is released? While many people are hoping they will transfer the stats and the progress we made in the beta, I think that we can bet on them just resetting everyone back to square one.
If we look at some past beta’s that were opened up for testing, we can assume they will do the same with Star Wars Battlefront when the game is released on November 17th. There are a few reasons that this will most likely happen in my opinion.
First of all they will tweak weapons, game modes, damage, and simply make adjustments that will alter or make the previous stats irrelevant to a certain extent. The point of the beta is to test out the game in a live environment and make adjustments where they are needed.
Secondly, resetting the stats is not really a big deal as many of the full game functions were locked out during the beta. Simply flipping the switch on the stats and progress people acquired is not a big deal and they can easily be achieved again.
Lastly, it just evens the playing field for all the new players on the day the game comes out. It might suck if you buy the game and find yourself at a instant disadvantage simply because you didn’t play the Battlefront beta.
So while there is a chance they could keep the Battlefront beta stats, I think we can pretty much assume they won’t. Either way, in the end does it really matter? I think not as many of us will be losing plenty of sleep when the game comes out anyhow.
We will be right back where we were in just a blink of an eye.
