While we had a feeling that Star Wars Battlefront would be a huge game, we now know it will be after 9.5 million people played the beta making it the biggest beta in EA history. The game was available for nearly a week for some beta testing where players were allowed to play a slimmed down version of the new game being developed by Dice and Electronic Arts.
There was only a few game modes available during the beta, which were Walker Assault and Drop Zone, but that didn’t stop millions of players who wanted to log on and play. Besides the limited game modes, player customization was disabled along with many star cards and weapons.
The game is set to be released in just a few more weeks as it’s slated to hit the shelves on November 17th. Fans can get some extra added bonuses by pre-ordering the game early, including early access, the Battle of Jukku, and some additional weapons and Star Cards.
