Anthony Daniels has been busy, and it was confirmed today that he was busy recording the voice of C-3PO for Star Wars Battlefront that is scheduled to be released later on this year. Earlier today on Twitter EA announced, “We’ve got #C3PO“.

While it has been stated that not only will C-3po be in new Star Wars Battlefront game, but so will R2-D2 as well. What people, including myself, aren’t sure of is to what extent these characters will play.
They could simply be support characters, maybe they’re just in the background of the game and do very little, or maybe they play a more larger and special role in multiplayer gaming. I’m guessing that we could have more info about their role coming up at E3, which is only about 10 days away.
Regardless, how can you not love the fact that the original, and true, C-3PO voice has made its way to Star Wars Battlefront. Very well played, very well played indeed.
