The Infiltration game mode is a new addition to Battlefront with the Rogue One: Scarif expansion pack. This is a similar mode where there are multiple stages that you need to complete in order to win. It will start off in space like Battle Station, and then move to the ground where the final stages need to be won.
Like Battle Station, the first stage starts in space. In this stage, X-Wings must escort their U-Wing to the shield gate where they can destroy it. The game will select a random player to play as the U-Wing, but as time goes on, more U-Wings will join in. The Imperial Forces will be trying hard with their Tie Fighters to take them down before they reach it. If the Rebels are successful, they will move onto the next stage.
In the next Infiltration stage, Rebels must try to destroy only one of the two Imperial shuttles. If the Imperial forces can stop them, the Rebels will lose and it’s over. However, if they can destroy one of them then it’s onto the final stage.
This final stage is about getting the data tapes, or Death Star plans off of Scarif. There will be three available data tapes to carry, but you only need to get one back to your U-Wing. If you die while carrying a data tape then your team can try to pick it up where you left off. However, they will return back to spawn if they sit there long enough. At this point, you can grab it again and start all over. If one of the tapes reaches the U-Wing, the Rebels can claim victory.
