Drop Zone

Battlefront Drop Zone is about capturing, and holding, the escape pods that are crashing down from the sky above. If you are successful in capturing them you will gain points and receive random power ups. This is a smaller 8 versus 8 match that creates a very fast pace in your face gaming experience.

Pods will randomly crash down where your team will have to secure them in order to gain points. Once you capture a pod, it opens up to reveal three random power ups for whoever grabs them. If neither team can capture the pod then another pod will fall helping to break the stalemate. The team that reaches 5 captures first will win, or whoever is ahead when the clock expires.

You will find that when playing that you’re constantly running and moving to capture. This is what makes it very exciting and really fun to play. When you respawn you normally do so on the other side of the map away from the current pod. So as soon as you spawn, you’re immediately on the move.
