Season Pass "waiting to install" error

    Hi everyone,

    I've read about a few others with this problem, but so far haven't seen any answers other than "resore licenses" which doesn't work.

    I have purchased and downloaded the Season Pass to my PS4, after getting a bit left behind with new game modes and cards like Scatter Gun. However, the Pass downloads and then gets stuck on "waiting to install".

    I've tried several times, and now I'm at the point where I think I have to just uninstall this game.

    This same problem came up when the Battle for Jakku update was first released. It always said "content not available" in store, and using a PC to initiate the download would end up with the same "waiting to install" error. Eventually, one of the big updates included the BFJ update and bypassed that problem.

    I'm guessing this is an issue of region, even though the PS4 is supposed to be region free for games. I purchased my PS4 in the UK and continue to use my UK account, but now I live in China. The game was purchased in HongKong, and works fine, apart from this issue.

    It was already a lot of hassle trying to top up my UK account with credit to purchase the Season Pass.....now I can't even use it!!

    Anybody have ideas how to fix this....or should I just kill myself?

    You're in China, what are you doing there? Never suicide, unless you are stuck on the map.

    Found out the problem is a PlayStation scam, that apparently many are still falling into. The PS4 was launched as being region free...but they are now blocking DLC content if your PSN account is a different region to your game disc. They are complete assholes about it, and do not offer any refunds....so that's about $70 their happy to steal from me and many others.

    Hi there! I think that you may contact a technical support team for the issue. They will guide you in a better way in resolving the issue. I am not getting it, why it is happening, but you may also search online to know more information about PS4.
