Been playing since launch, rank 26 and yet I still suck. Rarely get more than 10 kills and deaths are always at least double my kill rate for a map! I die in a couple of hits yet cannot kill others. I'm equipped with the DL44 at present, jump pack, focus fire and barrage. Using a standard Xbox One controller until my elite arrives! Any tips on what I need to do to sort myself out?
What's up JEarthrunner, thanks for stopping by. Yeah I play a lot with the DL-44, no jump pack though...hmmm. Are you playing on Wi-FI or hard connected? Sometimes if you are simply lagging a little bit you find yourself being killed a lot. It's the first thing I normally check.
I'm hard-wired and have thought about lag because I'm often dead just as I've seen the opposition. Been playing around with the QoS on my router to see if that makes a difference......so far it doesn't! I think I'm just rubbish :) I have trouble with the controller, aiming, so hope the elite controller will give me a little bit more sensitivity in that respect. Trouble is, I get so frustrated with the game and the more frustrated I get, the more I play.
Ok, hard wire good. Now do people in your household use Wi-Fi? @Loc does hard wired matter if there are people using Wi-Fi? I guessing not since it is different channels.
