Deluxe versus Standard Editions

There are two versions available for purchase when you’re ready to buy Battlefront 2, but which one do you choose? When you compare the deluxe versus standard edition they both seem great. If you pre-order the game you get a lot of extra cool bonuses, so maybe you don’t need the deluxe. Or do you? Well, let’s take a moment to see what you get when you pre-order and check out the differences between the deluxe and standard editions.

First of all, let’s look at what you get when you pre-order Battlefront 2. The first thing is you get early access to the beta test that comes this fall, which speaks for itself. You get another weekend to play Battlefront 2. The next cool thing that you get is The Last Jedi Heroes Pack.

This hero pack has the outfits that Kylo and Rey wear in the movie, an upgraded Millenium Falcon, hero cards, and other starfighter bonuses. If you are going to order the game, you might as well pre-order it. It seems to be an easy no brainer!

Pre-Order Bonuses

  • Early access to the Star Wars Battlefront II Multiplayer Beta – Fall 2017
  • Instant access to Yoda’s epic Lightsaber Mastery AND Star Wars Battlefront II: The Last Jedi™ Heroes pack:
    • Exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi outfits for Kylo Ren and Rey
    • Instant access to Star Wars: The Last Jedi Millennium Falcon with updated sounds and appearance
    • Instant access to six hero and starfighter epic Star Cards
    • Kylo Ren: Power Reach and Solid Freeze
    • Rey: Far Sight and Deep Mind
    • Starfighters: Enhanced Auxiliary Power and First Order ship upgrade

Now that we covered the pre-order bonuses, let’s now focus on the deluxe versus standard editions.

Deluxe versus Standard Edition

When purchasing the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition, you get two major bonuses. All of your classes are upgraded. They get better weapons, abilities, and modifications. The second being is that you get to start playing three days earlier than everyone else. So the question then is, is the extra $20 worth it? I tend to think so.
