The Star Wars Battlefront Jakku DLC offers some new desert maps, a new multiplayer game mode, and new story that we can take part in and enjoy. Jakku is a desert planet that is dry and has plenty of sand dunes that are typical of a planet that has been stripped dry of its precious water.
This planet was home to a famous battle that took place after the Rebels won on Endor that would result in second destruction of the Death Star, which is known as the Battle of Jakku.
The Battle of Jakku is where the new republic, that was created when the Galactic Empire was defeated or weakened following the Battle of Endor, found an Imperial holdout and sought to further eliminate the remaining forces. The Battle of Jakku is where the new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens, actually picks up when the story continues again with Episode VII.
The Battlefront Jakku DLC gives us the Graveyard of Giants along with the new Goazan Badlands map. These two maps coupled with the new game mode titled Turning Point will add a little more fun and excitement as we battle it out on the battlefield.
